Our Story

At River Hockey Co., our story begins just like many of yours: with a love for the game.

It all started back in 2021 when our founder, a lifelong hockey player, decided to turn his passion for the sport into something more. What began as a small, one-man operation in a modest space quickly grew into the heart of our local hockey community. As a family, we saw the need for a shop that wasn’t just about selling gear—it was about serving players, parents, coaches, and fans who shared our enthusiasm for the game.

Growing up, hockey was everything. We spent our days on outdoor rinks, in local arenas, and traveling across the region for tournaments and games. We knew the importance of good equipment, but we also understood the value of sports nutrition and how eating right plays a critical role in enhancing performance, speeding recovery, and supporting overall health for players at all levels. That’s why we set out to create a space where players could not only find the best gear, but also the best sports nutritional products all under the same roof.

Today, River Hockey Co. is still run by the same family who started it all. From our family to yours, we’ve worked hard to stay true to our roots. We’re proud to carry top-quality gear and nutritional products from the brands you trust, but we’re even prouder to be a part of the local hockey scene—whether it’s helping new players find their first stick, helping parents navigate the equipment maze, or sponsoring local teams and leagues.
